Today’s writing prompt is a bit of a change of pace to what you’ve found here so far. This time it’s about working with known or existing text that you may or may not find fun – but sometimes doing what you don’t find fun is what you’ve got to do, right?
Wait. That is probably just me speaking from my I-can’t-believe-I-have-to-go-back-to-work-on-Monday headspace, as the Café Writing Tour is suspended and normal programming resumes. I am not feeling the fun in that idea – it is going to be haarrd. But this prompt I think you will have fun with.
Writing prompt #097
The Cliché Poem
Think of all the clichés that you love, that you love to use, and/or that you love to hate. Then write a poem where every line is, or includes, a cliché.
Write until you run out of clichés.
